We are 3/4 of the way through the 2019 karting season and its time to setup a website and social media accounts, we have also setup a crowd funding page to try and get some sponsorship. Wes have been improving all year, we changed from a Zip Chassis to a Project one after a few rounds, this caused us a few bad races while we got used to the new setup, now he is well away and improving. Wes Coombs Racing

During 2018 our Son started his Karting Carrier when we bought a kart and raced at Mansell Kart Racing Club. He got his MSA licence and then did enough races to obtain a full class B licence, that allowed him to start the 2019 season being placed on the starting grid rather than at the back. We started a website site, facebook page and instagram account to show what he can do and for people to follow his progress.

Go Karting – MSA Test

The MSA test consists of 2 parts, a multiple choice written test and an observation of how the driver is doing on the track. After a few weeks of practice sessions the lap times were falling, the aim was to do a lap in approx 1min. Suddenly the times dropped from 1:06 to 1:01, time to book the test.
