Silverstone 6hr World Endurance Race Weekend

Last year we went to Silverstone for the Formula 1 Race, it was ok but very expensive for what you got. The camping was great, we booked a pre-pitched tent. This year we booked to go and see the World Endurance Championship, much better value, only £50 for an Adult weekend ticket and children under 16 are free, camping at the woodlands site was £30 per adult for the weekend and £10 per child, the campsite has proper toilets, hot showers and washing up facilitates. Sheepstor Rock Climbing

Climbing at Sheepstor

The Climbing center that we take our children to has organised several days out to real rocks on Dartmoor, today we are off to Sheepstor, we are taking the camper van so we can have a cup of tea while the kids climb. Quite easy to get to, all meeting up at Burrator Reservoir just down the road and then off to the Tor. Off they went to setup on the crag and we had tea and a quick bite to eat, by the time we go to the rock they were in full swing, ropes and climbers all over
