Storm Angus – Local Flooding

Out the of the village we live in there are 4 roads, 2 of which were flooded yesterday, one of which was passable in the 4×4 for a while but later in the day it was closed off. We spent a while looking at other routes on the map and found a way to the kids school. Hopefully this morning all will be well, there is a local facebook group that lets people know if one of the roads is flooded. At least there is no damage done to our house or any in the village. Time to buy a 4×4

Growing up in a small village 600 ft above sea level in Wiltshire teaches you about why you need a 4×4, now we are in Cornwall, winter is starting to arrive and the trip to school each day is down into the valley and up the other side. Time to get a 4×4 me thinks. Over the years we have had several 4×4 vehicle, although landrovers can take more maintaining over a Japanese equivalent there is no doubt that they are the best 4x4xFar.
