Silverstone 6hr World Endurance Race Weekend

Last year we went to Silverstone for the Formula 1 Race, it was ok but very expensive for what you got. The camping was great, we booked a pre-pitched tent. This year we booked to go and see the World Endurance Championship, much better value, only £50 for an Adult weekend ticket and children under 16 are free, camping at the woodlands site was £30 per adult for the weekend and £10 per child, the campsite has proper toilets, hot showers and washing up facilitates. A few days in Scotland for a family memorial

100 Years ago my wife’s great grandfather died in the first world war. The family are commemorating the centenary of the death of the Rev. John Davis, minister of Buittle parish church, who died on 22 July 1917 on active service with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Mesopotamia. A service of remembrance is being held on 29th July 2017, this date fits around family commitments. Off on Holiday to…… Cornwall

Its Holiday time, for the last 5 years we have been renting a holiday home in Cornwall, the one for this year was booked in 2015 before we knew for sure we would be moving to Cornwall. Only an hour away this year instead of 3 1/4, so much easier to and although we still left early to beat the traffic.
