Each year Cambourne celebrates the great Cornish Engineer Richard Trevithick, We had a great day out, met up with relatives that live just outside of Cambourne. Springtime and there is lots to do in the garden Tasks completed in the last few weeks: Repaired 3 of the Raised beds, rebuilt the 4th from scratch as it was rotten Planted Onions and First Early potatoes. Planted seeds in the greenhouse (Beans, Tomatoes, Sunflowers, Beetroot, Butternut Squash, Sweet Peppers) Built a new compost heap and moved the contents of the other 3 around, they are now rotting well. Built a Hydroponics setup in the greenhouse, more on this in a future post See how the vegetables grew…..

Our eldest son loves F1 and other motorsport, he would love to be a professional race driver or work in the design team. About 40 minutes from our house is the St Eval karting circuit, this is an ‘arrive and drive’ type of place. They provide all of the safety equipment and there is a driver briefing. Parents and kids can go out on track at the same time, for the kids there are GX120 karts and Adults GX160’s. Thsi is really good fun, you can try to lap your children. Food is provided from a food van, nice burgers
